Angus Gordon is Head of Credit for UK Development at Maslow Capital, responsible for leading the initial credit underwriting process and overseeing the performance of the firm’s UK development loan portfolio.
He brings over 14 years of experience across real estate, infrastructure and private credit. Angus joined Maslow from Legal & General Investment Management, where he served as Head of Asset Management for Private Credit Europe. In this role, he led a team managing a substantial portfolio spanning real estate, infrastructure, structured finance and corporate lending, with direct responsibility for a £2.8bn real estate loan book.
Prior to LGIM, Angus spent over eight years at Investec Bank in roles across loan syndication, portfolio management and recoveries. He was instrumental in building the bank’s real estate loan distribution platform and managing a diverse portfolio of UK development and investment loans. He began his career in real estate equity, working for a PBSA developer.
Angus holds a BA in Business Economics and an MSc in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University, as well as the AMCT Diploma in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
His deep credit expertise and strategic approach play a key role in upholding Maslow’s rigorous underwriting standards and delivering best-in-class lending.
