Josh O’Brien is a Data Architect at Maslow Capital, where he is responsible for designing and engineering the data infrastructure that underpins Maslow’s automated reporting and analytics capabilities. His remit includes the development of end-to-end data pipelines and interactive dashboards, enabling enhanced decision-making across the business.

A self-taught programmer since 2019, Josh began his journey in data analytics by creating an iOS Valuation App to automate real estate valuation algorithms. He went on to join Gerald Eve (now Newmark UK) as a Graduate Surveyor, where he developed bespoke software solutions to eliminate repetitive tasks and supported the appraisal of significant assets including £850m of hospital assets, £150m of industrial assets, and £180m of hotel assets. His career then progressed into a Business Analyst role, where he further refined his skills in programming and cloud infrastructure to streamline workflows and deliver actionable insights.

Josh holds a First-Class BSc in Real Estate from Northumbria University, Newcastle, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
