Sky Mapson

Deal Origination

After graduating from Royal Holloway University of London in 2009, Sky joined RBS Global Banking and Markets where he worked as an analyst in various fixed income sales roles. He was principally involved in modelling and managing interest rate and inflation risk for UK public sector treasury bodies as well as formulating and marketing asset and liability matching derivative solutions to UK public sector pension schemes.

In the latter part of his time at RBS, Sky spent a significant proportion of his time modelling debt and derivative restructuring, this sparked an interest in the alternative funding sector and ultimately prompted his decision to join Maslow Capital in June 2012. Sky forms part of the Maslow origination team and is responsible for sourcing and structuring new lending transactions and presenting these to the credit and risk committee.

Matt Pigram

Partner & Deal Origination

After spending a number of successful years in retail banking, Matt decided to specialise in property lending joining Dunbar Bank Plc where he remained for 10 years. He has worked extensively with both commercial and residential investors and developers on a wide range of projects not only in London but throughout the UK, using his technical knowledge and attention to detail to deliver a range of funding solutions.

Matt joined Maslow in 2011 and has played an instrumental role in growing the business, becoming a partner in 2014. Matt looks after a portfolio of customers and is responsible for growing new lending relationships.

Chris Blowers

Co-founder & Head of Origination

A graduate of the LSE, Chris has over 30 years’ experience in property finance and banking starting in the City Office of Williams & Glyn’. Chris was Chief Manager of Corporate Banking at AIB (GB) for many years and was latterly Corporate Director of AIB City Office the Bank’s flagship UK Branch. Chris joined Investec Structured Property Finance in 2005 and originated a significant property backed loan book in Senior, Senior Stretch and Mezzanine debt before leaving to become a co-founder of Maslow Capital in 2009.

Chris continues to source and manage transactions as the head of the Maslow origination team.

Adam Wass

Deal Origination

Adam joined Maslow Capital in 2014 after graduating from DeMontfort University in 2009 and having spent 5 years at the Ministry of Justice.

Adam was initially responsible for assisting the deal origination team in both structuring new and monitoring existing deals through to successful repayment. Adam has been involved in a variety of transactions to date including pure residential development, mixed-use, PBSA, bridge transactions and complex deposit structured deals.

In 2018, Adam moved to the origination team and is responsible for sourcing new business with a focus on residential development and retirement living. Adam is keen to build out Maslow’s niche in supporting the development of specialist property asset classes.
