He began his career at Firm Consulting before joining Caixa Geral de Depósitos, and most recently, Norfin, a leading Portuguese real estate investment manager. His professional journey has equipped him with extensive knowledge of the Portuguese real estate market and the financial mechanisms that drive it.

João’s strong technical background—gained from his master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico—provides him with unique insights into the structural and developmental aspects of real estate projects. His postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management and Valuation from ISEG at the University of Lisbon further enhances his expertise in assessing property value and investment potential.
