Maslow Capital’s Lending Solutions division provides €32.88m refinancing facility for newly completed logistics asset in the Thames Valley

Pan-European finance provider Maslow Capital has closed a €32.88m 12-month facility for Kier Property, secured against the developer’s newly completed 104,000 sq ft industrial and warehouse unit in Bracknell.

The facility refinances Kier Property’s equity investment in the scheme – replacing capital the company deployed during construction. By recycling this equity, Kier can pursue a growing pipeline of commercial and residential projects across the UK.

The transaction was originated by Emma Burke, Managing Director of Development Finance at Maslow Capital in the UK and Europe, and structured by Aron Connolly within Maslow’s Lending Solutions division. Maslow Capital’s Lending Solutions team focuses on complex or event-driven situations – such as project recapitalisations, loan purchases, land remediation and other specialist real-estate finance. The team works seamlessly with Maslow’s Bridging and Development Finance teams to deliver full lifecycle support to borrowers.

Kier Property, a subsidiary of the publicly listed Kier Group, has a long track record of delivering, letting and disposing of industrial, commercial and mixed-use assets. The newly completed asset benefits from excellent transport connectivity and is well placed to meet ongoing demand for Grade-A logistics accommodation in the Thames Valley.
