The property had an extensive history, dating back to 2004 when the original planning consent was granted for a new block with underground parking. Construction began in 2007 with a considerable amount of work getting completed, including an excavation of the basement car park, laying of the foundations, and the erection of the reinforced concrete frame up to the fourth floor. However, the original developers ceased trading during the downturn.
