Maslow Capital provided a £35 million development loan to YourTRIBE, supporting the delivery of a premium Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Walthamstow.

The project will deliver 224 PBSA units and 5,300 sq ft of commercial space, with practical completion scheduled in time for the 2026 academic intake. The development will help address the chronic undersupply of high-quality student accommodation in London, where demand continues to outstrip supply.

With just one available PBSA bed for every 3.6 students, London remains one of the most undersupplied student accommodation markets in the UK. Additionally, 44% of London’s student population is international, reinforcing the need for well-located, high-quality housing to support both domestic and overseas students.

YourTRIBE is rapidly emerging as a key player in the PBSA sector. Within its first year of operation, it has established key university partnerships, delivered two schemes ahead of schedule, and earned industry recognition, winning the #1 and #2 Best SE-London Property awards at Student Crowd’s Student Voice Awards 2024.

YourTRIBE’s developments focus on modern design and a holistic approach to well-being, offering stylish, high-spec accommodation and premium amenities. Residents of the Walthamstow scheme will benefit from concierge services, dedicated study hubs, vibrant social lounges, a state-of-the-art gym, and secure cycle storage, ensuring a best-in-class student living experience.
