Maslow Capital surpasses €1 billion in bridging finance completions across the UK and Europe in 2026

Maslow Capital, the specialist bridging and development finance lender, has completed more than €1bn (c.£838m) of bridging facilities across the UK and Europe since the start of 2026, for borrowers ranging from small entrepreneurial property businesses to institutional sponsors.
Facilities this year have ranged from a £164k loan to convert a house in Herefordshire into an HMO to a £137m facility refinancing two completed residential towers in Manchester. Lending has spanned residential, hotel, student accommodation, logistics and commercial property.
While the larger facilities attract the most attention, much of the year’s activity has been in smaller loans, including acquisitions, auction purchases, refurbishments, change-of-use conversions and refinances. Maslow’s originators work directly with brokers and sponsors, backed by local market knowledge and a consistent approach to underwriting, enabling the business to deliver both small refurbishment loans and large, complex facilities with the speed and certainty borrowers require.
Bridging sits within a single platform alongside Maslow’s development finance and lending solutions teams. Where a scheme needs a development, exit or more bespoke facility, the teams work together from the outset, giving borrowers one relationship that can evolve with the asset.
This year’s milestone builds on an established European track record that has already funded a number of well-known schemes. In 2025 Maslow supported hundreds of smaller entrepreneurial property projects across the continent, alongside larger transactions such as a €17m developer exit loan on a completed residential scheme in Dublin and a €43m bridging loan to fund demolition and enabling works at a former shopping centre in Madrid, ahead of its redevelopment into a residential-led scheme.
“Passing €1bn of bridging completions before the year concludes is a significant milestone. I am very proud of our teams across the UK and Europe who have delivered it, and grateful to the brokers who continue to trust us with their clients. We have built a platform that gives every borrower the same focus and certainty, whether the facility is a few hundred thousand or more than a hundred million. That is what our clients have come to rely on. We go into 2027 with the team, the platform and the funding to keep delivering on that commitment.”Mark Posniak, Managing Director and Head of Short-Term Finance (UK & Europe) at Maslow Capital
