Maslow Capital was excited to work with this experienced developer, who was undertaking their largest project to date with the construction of a 56 residential unit scheme. It was an unusual build that comprised of two separate sites on either side of a railway, creating two separate blocks of flats across split sites made building work more challenging.
The development was based in Tower Hamlets, a rapidly developing area in London that has risen in value by 57% between 2007 and 2016 (source: Land Registry). It was also identified as an area that would deliver 9% of the housing target over a 10 year period, as set out by the London Mayor in the ‘London Plan’. This development was registered with the government’s Help to Buy scheme, with over 80% of the flats falling within the £600k threshold.
