Maslow Capital promotes Sky Mapson to Managing Director, Origination (UK)
Throughout his 14 years at Maslow Capital, Sky has been a constant in the Development Finance team, building out its origination capability and developing sponsor relationships that span multiple market cycles.
2025 was a record year for Maslow Capital’s origination, with the platform closing its highest-ever volume of new lending. Sky played a key role in the UK contribution, originating transactions including a £500m whole loan secured against a portfolio of five operational PBSA assets across the UK; a £122m development facility for a mixed-use co-living scheme in Abbey Wood, London; and a £116.6m development facility for two PBSA schemes in Wembley, London.
As Managing Director, Origination (UK), Sky takes on a senior leadership role within Maslow Capital’s origination function. The expanded remit brings him into closer strategic support of Emma Burke, Managing Director, Head of Development Finance Origination (UK & Europe), on the direction of the platform’s origination activity. He works alongside fellow senior originators Matt Pigram and James Henry.
Sky’s promotion coincides with a period of significant growth for Maslow Capital as it continues to scale its pan-European operations. Active across eight markets, including the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany and the Netherlands, the firm combines local origination with discretionary capital and a single in-house credit process. This enables decisions to be made quickly and consistently across jurisdictions, supported by a product offering that spans Bridging, Development Finance and bespoke Lending Solutions across the living, hotel, leisure, healthcare and logistics sectors.
